
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager (Civil) with 7–8 years of hands-on experience managing mid to large-scale civil construction projects. The ideal candidate should be proficient in project planning software (MS Project / Primavera), capable of preparing method statements, and experienced in site mobilization, quality reporting, and final project documentation including as-built drawings.
Key Responsibilities
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s or PMP certification is a plus).
7 to 8 years of experience in project management roles in civil engineering projects.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, quality standards, safety practices, and engineering
documentation.
Key Skills:
MS Project or Primavera P6 for scheduling and tracking.
Method statement preparation and technical reporting.
Site layout planning and mobilization.
Material management and consumption tracking.
Quality assurance, inspection reporting, and as-built documentation.
Strong leadership, team coordination, and communication skills.
Project Planning & Scheduling:
Develop detailed project schedules using MS Project or Primavera.
Monitor progress against baseline plans and implement corrective actions when needed.
Site Execution & Supervision:
Lead and oversee day-to-day operations at the construction site.
Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and internal teams.
Ensure site activities comply with technical specifications, drawings, and safety norms.
Method Statements & Documentation:
Prepare and review method statements and work procedures for key construction activities.
Develop and maintain site layout plans and mobilization strategies.
Material & Resource Management:
Monitor material consumption and prepare regular reports to control wastage and manage inventory.
Ensure timely availability of materials and equipment as per project schedule.
Quality Control & Reporting:
Conduct regular quality inspections and prepare inspection reports.
Coordinate with QA/QC teams and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Final Documentation:
Oversee the preparation of as-built drawings and ensure submission upon project completion.
Maintain completion.
Maintain complete project documentation and ensure knowledge transfer for future reference.
